Features

SteelSeries Arctis 3 specs represent a great mobile device compatible with low impedance players. Its impedance is 32 Ohm. The frequency response of 20Hz-22KHz makes them decent Hi-Fi headphones with good reproduction of sound at all ranges thatI will test further. With the sensitivity of 98 dB they should deliver quality sound at loud volumes.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 review

Sound

The sound volume is low. They do not deliver enough loudness even at its maximum volume. The soundstage is closed and imaging is dislocated. The ranges are very flat. There is an awful total harmonic distortion that sinks the clarity.

Fortunately, the sound of the microphone is satisfying and clear.

Connectivity

The headphones SteelSeries Arctis 3 have a wired connection only. The cable is detachable and is long enough for comfy use with 3 m/9.8 ft length. It has no balanced connection. The ¼ (6.35 mm) jack adapter is in a set.

Comfort and design

These are not the lightest headphones of 425 g/15 oz. The closed cups make ears hot for long wearing. They are not foldable to make them take less space. The padding seems thin and you nearly touch the dynamics with your ears. The headband is padded and adjustable but it has a very short limit of adjusting. The detachable microphone is good for gaming and calls. The control buttons are placed the way so you can easily switch them occasionally. There is also an app control. They allow us to switch the volume, and turn the microphone on/off.
