SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth is a nice model of mobile headphones if you like the comfort of over ear audio devices. It has wired and wireless connection options that makes it versatile for different use. The closed cups design also serves this purpose.
The SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth specs show us a decent field of frequency response from 20Hz to 22KHz. They represent sensitivity of 98 dB that is nice for clarity of sound at high volumes. Their impedance is 32 Ohm and they work well with mobile devices without an amp. The battery life is long and supplies 28 hours of work. It has no speed charge but if the battery is low the battery free listening mode will be in use.
The headphones sound flat that will suit most genres of music and are gaming. They reproduce a strong bass, though I felt some lack of clarity in low ranges that may sound a bit boomy. The mids are flat and trebles are nice. The audio profile may be easily adjusted to your taste with an EQ but it will be still a bit closed for the cups enclosure.
The function of ambient noise cancelling is absent.
The device comes with a detachable cable of 3 m/9.8 ft. Bluetooth version 4.1 provides wireless connection.
Not the best device in terms of comfort for their weight of 425 g/15 g. In spite of an adjustable headband I do not find them comfortable for long time wearing. It seems to lack softer padding. The closed cups will make ears hot and sweaty for long use. The large cups are comfortable for their oval shape and size but not foldable for portability.
