Audio-Technica ATH-M30x is an above-average quality model in its price range that reproduces a decent sound quality and has a nice comfort and build. These are closed back headphones with wired connection and over ear wearing style.

Audio-Technica ATH-M30x specs show a good range of frequency response, 15Hz-22KHz, that allow them to reproduce a high fidelity sound. But that’s not all the characteristics that define the audio quality. If we see further, the sensitivity of 96 dB allows it to deliver a clear sound at high volumes. And with an impedance of 47 Ohm it is quite compatible and usable with MP3 players and mobile phones.
Sound
The headphones impress with the fidelity of sounds and their nice balance. The ranges are rich and detailed. They sound clean at all frequencies and I can feel strong lows even at moderate volumes.
The soundstage is not roomy for its closed cups but still I enjoy the clarity of sounds.
Connectivity
The headphones come with an adjustable cable 3 m/9.8 ft long. They support wired connection only.
Comfort and design
The headband and cups are softly padded and feel comfortable on the head. The headband is also adjustable for the head size which is great. The cups are large and they fold inside to take less space when stored and carried. A soft pouch for safety is also there in a set. They are light for the head and carrying with the weight of 220 g/7.7 oz.
