Let me share with you the results of my testing Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO vs Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro. The series of DT 770/880/990 are the first dynamic headphones that are not worse than electrostats by characteristics.
Both the headphones have the over ear wearing style and are wired. The main difference is the enclosure: Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO has a closed back while DT 990 Pro is open.
