Features

The Sennheiser HD 660 S has almost twice lower impedance vs Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO, 150 vs 250 Ohm. The frequency response is almost equal with 9Hz-41.5KHz of the first vs 5Hz-40KHz of the latter. In sensitivity the difference is also insignificant with 104 vs 102 dB.

Sound

I can describe the sound of Sennheiser HD 660 S as even in all ranges. Any frequency does not excel the other and the midrange is clear unlike recessed in many headphones. Beyerdynamics (too harsh in the high end), everything is very even.Incredible midrange.

The sound of Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO is alive. The treble is very detailed without any sibilance. I can say these are the best highs I've heard. The mids are slightly backwards on the stage, that makes highs and lows brighter. The lows are deep.

Comfort and design

The headphones Sennheiser HD 660 S fit very comfortably with their large ear cups and microfiber padding. The black matte finish makes them look high-end.

Both have adjustable headbands but Sennheiser’s feels softer and thicker. Its cups are also larger that is comfy for wearing and listening. Both are also not really portable for bulky design and unfoldable cups. They neither swivel nor lay flat.

The weight of Sennheiser is lighter, 260 vs 370 g of Beyerdynamic’s.

The cables have a safe detachable adjusting and there is an option of an audio-cable in both the headphones.
