Read MoreSkullcandy Hesh 2 vs Skullcandy Crusher is not foldable which is one of the biggest disadvantages. These devices without noise-canceling are wireless and have an over-ear wearing style. They are also closed back and buying any of these headphones you get an audio cable.
Skullcandy Hesh 2 and Skullcandy Crusher have exactly the same impedance which is 33 Ohm. Their frequency response is identical as well — 20 Hz - 20 kHz. They have a difference in sensitivity, as the first appliance has 105 dB and the second one has 90 dB. The headphones do not have NFC and aptX support.
The two headphone models have a huge difference in battery life. Skullcandy Hesh 2 works up to 15 hours while a battery life of Skullcandy Crusher is 40 hours. In addition, only the second one has a function of speed charge. Both have a battery-free listening mode.
In the case with Skullcandy Hesh 2, the bass is inflated and the sound is very warm. Also, I realised that the bass is not well controlled.
Skullcandy Crusher has a lot of low-end emphases and it makes the device perfectly suitable for bass-heads. On the other side, mids really suffer from the overbearing basses in most cases.
When it comes to comfort, Skullcandy Hesh 2 has a great benefit as its weight is only 180 g and Skullcandy Crusher weighs 275 g. The appliances have an adjustable headband and an audio cable with 120cm length.
For talking on the phone on per Skype you should use a built-in microphone. A carry case comes with each pair of headphones.
