Read MoreAKG K845BT vs Bose QuietComfort 35 II represent a decent couple to compare in the terms of closed back, over ear headphones with wired and wireless options.
The headphones AKG K845BT are represented with impedance of 32 Ohm, 20Hz-20KHz frequency response, and sensitivity of 102 dB. Unfortunately, I have not found the specifications of the Bose’s model. The battery life of AKG K845BT vs Bose QuietComfort 35 II shows a great difference of 8 vs 20 hours with a charge time 3 and 2 hours accordingly. Plus, Bose QuietComfort 35 II provides a speed charge and battery level indicator that is very useful.
The AKG has a broad brilliant sound. Everything is clear and all the ranges are present at their place. Bass is strong but not overshadowing trebles and mids. The closed cups isolate the sound in a natural way quite decently, in spite of the absence of ANC. I would call the sound warm and fluent.
The Bose sets you free from adjusting the levels of ranges, optimizing them automatically according to the type of music you're listening to and it makes the things really easier. The sound is brilliant. Though the soundstage is reduced for the closed type cups, the imaging is very clear. The bass doesn't draw trebles and mid-range backwards.
The active noise cancelling of Bose leaves you one by one with your music.
Both headphones are very light with 240 g of weight. Adjustable headband allows it to fit both comfortably on a head.
The Bose QuietComfort 35 II and the AKG K845BT are very comfortable, light, and pleasant to touch.
However, the option of cups foldability and a hard carry case is available for Bose headphones only.
