Read MoreThe difference which can be seen between Beats Solo Pro vs Beats EP is that the first one is wireless while the second is not. The similarity is that they both have on ear wearing style and closed back.
The battery of Beats Solo Pro lasts about 22 hours, however, without noise-cancelling it can work up to 40 hours. Although, these headphones have lots of benefits they do not have support for aptX HD and do not have NFC.
The benefit of the Beats EP device is that is has the iPhone remote which works not only with Apple but also with Android phones.
The sound quality of Beats Solo Pro is quite similar to the Solo 3's. However, the point is that the bass feels “tighter”. These headphones can get incredibly loud without distorting the low end at all. The possibility of noise cancellation, with and without music playing, is one of the benefits
When you are listening to music with Beats EP bass lines aren't distorted. The bass is strong and the treble and clarity are improved compared to other models.
Both models have an adjustable headband. Beats Solo Pro are foldable while Beats EP aren't.
The Beats Solo Pro device is much tighter on a head than the previous versions such as Beats Solo3. This device automatically powers on when opened, and powers off when closed, so you never have to fuss with a power button as you do on other headphones. The weight of the headphones is 267 g.
Now, let's take a look at wired on-ear headphones Beats EP. Their weight is 186 g which is quite low compared to the wireless ones. Some users say that within a few months, the cord frays where it connects to a device, leading to intermittent sound, and eventually, sound in only one headphone. The point is that the cord is built-in which means it isn't replaceable.
