Read MoreTesting the headphones Beyerdynamic T5p vs Beyerdynamic T1 2nd generation I should say that both are the products of a famous brand popular with professionals and audio fans for its high quality sound and advanced technologies in the sound stage.
The closed T5p vs the semi-open T1 2g model create great opponents in the type of over ear wired headphones.
The headphones T5p have 568Ohm lower impedance vs the T1 model stating 32 vs 600Ohm. They are totally equal with the frequency response of 5Hz-50KHz, sensitivity of 102dB, and total harmonic distortion 0.05%.
The sound quality of Beyerdynamic T5p is fantastic. The lows, mids, and trebles sound very clear and I can hear every detail. The bass is not heavy but very detailed. I suppose that quality of audio reproduction will suit any music genre.
The Beyerdynamic T1 2nd generation sounds very detailed but still warm and nice, not fatiguing. The distant-like soundstage places you at the back of the hall that makes the music smoother and relaxing. The highs and mids are balanced, and lows sound powerful.
Both headphones are light with 350 and 360 g weight but still too bulky in design. The padded headband is adjustable but feels tight. The padding is soft and the band is adjustable. The cups of T5p have fake leather padding that creates good isolation for ears but can make ears sweat. I find the velour padded cups of T1 2g great. They will not make my ears hot in long listening sessions. The built of both is sturdy and reliable with a metal base of the band and quality plastic. The joints seem durable. Detachable cable doesn't tangle.
