The battery life of Skullcandy Venue is 24 hours which is a bit more than the battery of Skullcandy Hesh 3 lasts — 22 hours. Only using the first device you can see how much battery is left as it has a special indicator. Both pairs of headphones have a speed charge function and do not support aptX.
Skullcandy Venue headphones do not have a typical bass-heavy sound. The device has some extra bass punch, however, it is almost exclusively in the very low and sub-bass region.
Skullcandy's signature bass-heavy sound is alive and well in the Hesh 3. The bass is punchy with incredible impact but will bleed into the mids, recessing vocals sometimes.
