Sound

The model Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO has a stronger bass compared to the previous models that is provided by the closed back enclosure. The tones are bright and crisp at all ranges without drawing any shade back. The trebles are upfront and may feel a bit sharp with some bright tracks. All the instruments and voices are there so they sound pretty natural for mixing as well as for audiophiles. There is no open soundstage, but the imaging is detailed.

Connectivity

There is a coiled undetachable cable and a ¼ (6.35) adapter in a set for better usability. The cable is quite long for comfortable use, 3 m/9.8 ft.

Comfort and design

The thick padding on the headband may seem a bit tight for long wearing. It is adjusted for the head size. But the cushions on cups are soft and quality with microfiber fabric. Unfortunately, they do not fold or lay flat. The closed cups also can make your ears warm if used for a long time. The weight of 360g/12.6 oz is quite acceptable for comfy fit.
