Sound
Keep in mind that your sound source will have a substantial impact on how the DT 990 Pro sounds. For example, I had a heftier bass response when listening through the headphone outputs of an Apogee Symphony than I connected to an iPhone 5s. The headphones produce incredibly deep sub-bass effortlessly. No aspect of the low-end goes missing here, and the mids and highs are perfectly clear and present.
Connectivity
The audio cable that you get with the headphone model is 300 cm/9.9 ft long and it will allow you to move around your room freely and listen to music at the same time. Also, the device has a 6.35 mm jack.
Comfort and design
The headband of this appliance can be extended to any head size. Every part of the headphones is user-replaceable, and everything feels pretty robust. The two-tone filter at the back of the ear cup, and the grill pattern on top of it, both give these a classic look. One more important thing to consider is their weight which is 360 g/12.7 oz. Consider that the mentioned headphones are not foldable. Anyway, you get Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro with a carry case. There are no buttons for control or microphone.

- Thanks to the open design, music is natural and spacious
- The ear cups have ample soft pads of memory foam, so they almost float on your ears
