Features

With an impedance of 16 Ohm the headphones are very loud and clear with mobile devices. Their frequency response 20Hz-20KHz provides a decent sound at all ranges for most ears. The sensitivity of 85 dB is above average for a quality sound.

The battery life of 30 hours is great for long use and travels. The charge time is not long, just 4 hours.

Sound

The bright feature of the sound of Cowin E7 is a strong bass. It is really boomy. But they lack clarity of mids and highs. The soundstage is narrow for the closed back cups.

Noise cancelling

The noise cancelling is not adjustable. It shuts steady noise like a vacuum cleaner or engine of a plane quite well. But it is not adjustable.The ANC is just decent for comfortable use, but not the best I’ve tested.

Connectivity

The detachable cable comes with a 3.5 jack connection. There is an extra audio cable in a set. The headphones come with a 4.0 Bluetooth version. The NFC support supplies a great quality of connectivity with mobile devices.

Comfort and design

The style looks very high-end with metal details. The headband is soft padded, adjustable, but a bit short for some heads. The cups are unfoldable but large and soft padded. They are light and moderately comfortable for not long listening sessions. Closed cups can also make ears warm. The microphone is built-in, but the sound quality for voice calls is not the best and clear for the recipients. The control is activated by buttons.
