Features
Сowin E8 specs represent a pretty wide range of frequency response - 20Hz-20KHz. I suppose their sensitivity of 100 dB is quite enough for a decent quality of sound at loud volumes. With an impedance of 32 Ohm they work well with various devices. The battery life of 20 hours seems enough for traveling and use on the go. Plus, the charge time is speedy and takes just 2.5 hours. The battery free listening mode also makes things easier. The appliance supports NFC.
Sound
The headphones Сowin E8 deliver a strong bass but it seems inconsistent and lacks clarity. The highs also lack transparency. The headphones are not for neutral and critical listening but they may quite satisfy most casual listeners. The closed back design does not allow it to create airy feeling of spacious soundstage and live music reproduction but that also makes them less leaky.
Noise cancelling
The ANC function works great with suppression of any noise. Its level is not adjustable but decent for casual use, traveling, and office. It switches off all the sounds from beyond very well to sleep in a place or focus on your work.
Connectivity
The wired connection is supported with a detachable cable. For wireless use there is Bluetooth version 4.0.
Comfort and design
The headphones are generally comfortable with ample paddings on the headband and cups. The adjustable headband allows you to customize it to the head size. It may feel a bit heavy for long wearing and stiff if you have a large head. The large cups sit well but the opening is small and it delivers sound not as amply as other over ear headphones. The cups are not foldable but lay flat that makes their carrying more comfortable. There is a built-in microphone and the device is very comfortable for calls also with control buttons.
