The headphones are pretty simple but they have voice control, so you can call Siri with them.
Sound
Beats EP specs do not make them any special but they do produce good sound. For the most part, they are very well balanced. Bass is responsive and tight and it will not distort even at full blast. Mids are clear and vocals come through clean. Overall, these headphones have a very warm sound.
Connectivity
The audio cable of this device is non-detachable. Its length is 120 cm/4 ft. The considered headphones have a 3.5 mm jack.
Comfort and design
The headphones are pretty light since their weight is 170 g/6.56 oz. Their headband can be adjusted and the ear cups pivot which gives them a comfortable fit. After opening the box with the device you will see that it has a soft pouch for carrying. The audio cable of these headphones is quite thin but it has in-line buttons for control.
Beats EP is available in four colors: blue, red, white, black. Their body is a mix of matte plastic and metal, while the headband is produced of plastic and rubber with a bit of padding on the top. At the moment these are the least expensive headphones you can get from Beats.
