Features

If we look at the Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT specs they make it a very decent pair of Hi-Fi headphones. They have a low impedance of 18 Ohm, wide field of frequency response - 18Hz-22KHz and a brilliant sensitivity of 113 dB. The battery life of 25 hours is more than satisfying and is charged very fast - for 2 hours. I find it comfortable to control its charge level with the indicator. They also may be used battery free.

Sound

The bright feature of Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT is a strong bass. The mids are not recessed unlike in many bass-heavy headphones. But the highs seem to lack a bit of detail. If you love punchy bass that will suit you. But the fans of crispy brilliant trebles will not be satisfied, I guess. Fortunately, there is an EQ to customize the sound up to your taste.

Noise cancelling

There is no ANC except for the natural ambient noise suppression with the closed cups.

Connectivity

The cable for wired connection is detachable and 140 cm/4.6 ft. The Bluetooth version for wireless option is 4.0. The model Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT also supports NFC and aptX.

Comfort and design

The weight of 225 g/7.9 oz is light for the head. You may adjust the headband to reduce pressure and it is not tight. The paddings are quite enough for comfort. The cups are not foldable for portability and may seem a bit small for large ears. They have a built in microphone for calls.
