Read MoreHere I`m going to show you a comparison Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT vs Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC. These are two pairs of over-ear headphones that come with a wire but also can be used as wireless. Both devices made by Sennheiser are closed back.
The headphones have pretty similar features. Their frequency response is absolutely identical — 18 Hz - 22 kHz. The impedance in both cases is 18 Ohm. Even the sensitivity is the same — 113 dB. The appliances have aptX support.
The battery life of Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT is 25 hours after 2 hours charge. Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC also can work 25 hours but only without noise-canceling. If this function is on, then the headphones` battery life if only 19 hours. They need 2 hours for charging, too. Using HD 4.40 BT you will be warned before the battery dies.
Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT has a magnificent bass depth and solid high-frequency clarity. The headphones also have strong mids.
Listening to music with Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC, you will have a strong bass response matched with crisp and bright highs. The vocals get plenty of definition and treble edge. Lows here do not dive too deep, however, they are entertaining and add body to the music in the right way.
When it comes to comfort, Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC has an advantage as this device is foldable. Speaking of the weight, there is a slight difference between these two pairs of headphones. Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT weighs 225 g and Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC has 238 g. Both of them are being sold with an audio cable which is 140 cm long.
