Features

Both headphones have exactly the same frequency response which is 20 Hz - 20 kHz. The impedance is similar, as Skullcandy Venue has 32 Ohm while Crusher has 33 Ohm. However, the first one has higher sensibility (97 dB) compared to the second one (90 dB).

The devices have no aptX and NFC support.

With Skullcandy Crusher you can listen to music for 40 hours but the battery life of Skullcandy Venue is only 24 hours. A big advantage for both of them is speed charge and a battery-free listening mode.

Sound

Skullcandy Venue does not have comically inflated bass or even a typical bass-heavy sound. The resolution leaves a lot to be desired and ANC also introduces a hiss to the sound. The device has a well-balanced sound. They are better suited for bass-heavy genres and won’t be ideal for more vocal-centric music.

Skullcandy Crusher has lots of low-end emphases that makes these great for bass-heads, especially considering that you can adjust the bass even more with the slider. The standout feature on these headphones is their adjustable bass with haptic feedback.

Comfort and design

Skullcandy Venue and Skullcandy Crusher have the same weight which is 275 g. Only the second pair of headphones is foldable, however, the cups of Skullcandy Venue swivel to lay flat, making it easier to slide them in a bag or the included case. They both have an adjustable headband. With any of these devices, you can talk on the phone using a built-in microphone. The audio cables for each of them have 120cm length. You will get a travel case together with the headphones.
